This place is one of the best places to bring out of town guest to or bring any party for celebration. Be sure to come for the Teppanyaki and enjoy the chefs show. All the workers try to satisfy your every request. The food servings are ample enough to satisfy your tummy. I always have plenty to take home. Oh ! And may I say…very tasty!!! Thank you Nanlangka for bringing a good change to Porterville!!!
This is one of my favorite restaurant. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Can't wait to return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in PORTERVILLE.
Great food. Did sit on the other side that have people cook in front of you (would recommend getting reservations if you want to sit on that side). Would highly recommend
the food is delicious and fresh, the chef was nice and you get to have your food cooked in front of you to your preferences. the ambience is amazing, and the entertainment is great. Ate dinner here, and I had both the salad and soup appetizer, both are tasty. The chicken teriyaki is good, and the ribeye steak is so good as well. I was a big fan of the fried rice with bacon, and the assorted veggies.
It was rather pricey for small portions, and be careful! They don't tell you about the service charges they put on the receipt when they cook in front of you. The courteous thing is to tip the person who cooked in front of you, but I guess people don't do it (resulting in a service charge), or they expect to have extra gratuity on top of it and that's how they make their money. Either way, I was blind sided by the fact that our party group (3 bills paid separately between 9 people) came out to $60 in total for just the service fees on top of an expensive 5oz steak for $29! Entertainment was ok, expected a bit more tricks, but other than that, the food was satisfactory, though I had to order two rolls of sushi and eat my daughter's shrimp dinner, where they mischarged me an extra $10, but other than that, 7 of us were satisfied, just my fiance and I weren't by the transparency of the service bill, especially since I only paid for 2 rolls of sushi that didn't require the grill in front of me. There should be a sign before you sit down informing you of a service charge of 20%.
